Sonja Bromann is a class of 2014 MCB student from Glen Ellyn, IL. She is currently living in Bloomington, IL working as a pharmacist for Meijer Pharmacy after having graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy.
Sonja's favorite part of majoring in MCB was getting to know her fellow MCB majors. She says she made lifelong friends as an MCB student.
Sonja's favorite memories as a student at U of I include taking in the atmosphere of the campus. "There is something special about walking on the U of I campus. My favorite memory is heading from building to building for class, seeing all of the students preparing for their next class as well. The amount of talent and potential that you can feel simply by walking through the quad is inspiring."
Here is some advice from Sonja for current and new MCB students: "Don't let academic success become your definition of success. Achievement is what you define it to be." Excellent advice, Sonja! We're so proud of you!
